Bonjour, mon amis! Our luggage came a few days ago in the morning, and since then, I've been having a great time! The beach is so pretty... look!

We've explored that area, the old part of Cannes, and the new part of Cannes. My classes are going well, and I'm learning- I can talk about what I like and don't like, what my name is, where I'm from, and how old I am. I can conjugate a few verbs, too, and describe a person by how they look. The class is a very diverse group of people; there's another girl and an older woman from the US, some boys from Madrid, a few Swedish people, a girl from Russia and one from the Czech Republic, two Irani boys, and a girl from Paraguay. That's it if I haven't forgotten anyone, and there are about 15 people in the class.
They don't believe in A/C in Europe, so it's really hot in this room, which kind of makes me disinclined to leave my computer on. But it's on a lot, so if you want to catch me online to talk, I'm here! The best way to do that is gmail chat. Skype is second-best.
I can see the Mediterranean from my room, and my roommate, Sarah, is awesome. We figured out that we have a few acquaintances in common at home, because I went to middle school and elementary school with some people she knows from high school or college. The other people in the program are pretty cool. Sometimes it's difficult to explain to the students from other countries that our group came here together, but we didn't know each other before the trip. Oh, well. Not terribly important!

Enjoy the pictures... and I'll write more later! Au revoir!
